Costum Jewels

I’m Benedetta, founder and designer of Tobe Atelier, and when I create a custom piece, I don’t simply offer craftsmanship — I share my artistic vision and sensitivity, listening deeply to your story, your energy, and your colours, translating them into shapes, textures, and materials that truly reflect you.

Every custom piece begins with a conversation — a vision, a memory, a feeling you want to wear. Together, we transform it into something tangible, crafted with time and intention in my atelier in Porto. Each jewel becomes a small universe — imperfect, poetic, and entirely yours.

Materials

Custom pieces can be created in a variety of materials, including:

  • Solid Gold 9k (37.5% pure gold)
  • Solid Gold 14k (58.5% pure gold)
  • Solid Gold 19k (79.2% pure gold)
  • White Gold (available in 9k, 14k or 19k)
  • Rose Gold (available in 9k, 14k or 19k)
  • Sterling Silver
  • Gold-Plated Silver
  • Platinum
  • Gold-Plated Brass

Gold is naturally yellow. White gold and rose gold are created by alloying pure gold with other metals to achieve different colours and properties. In general, the higher the gold content, the higher the value and cost of the piece.

How Pricing Works

Each quote is unique and depends on several factors:

  • Design complexity
  • Whether the piece includes gemstones that require sourcing and setting
  • The final weight of the piece
  • The chosen material
  • Production techniques involved (hand fabrication, casting, stone setting, engraving, etc.)

The weight of a jewel has a significant impact on pricing, especially when working with precious metals such as gold or platinum.

Precious metal prices fluctuate daily, which means quotes may vary depending on market conditions at the time of production.
